[Ken really needs to learn to keep his Pokegear away from Ratty. The little purple rodent's habit of chewing on things he really probably shouldn't has once again turned on the Gear, to show an ankle-high perspective of Ken out training with his Kirlia, Ran.
Yes, at one in the morning.
Shut up, he's a night owl.
It doesn't seem to be much of an issue, however, because he's up against an NPC trainer. Apparently they don't mind being out late either.]
Ran, Calm Mind.
[Ran focuses, starting to glow a pale green. The Kadabra on the other side of the battlefield holds its spoon ready to attack, but unluckily...it just has Confusion.
Against Ran's higher level, with a defense boost from Calm Mind, the attack is barely fazing.]
Shadow Sneak!
[Ran vanishes from sight in the shadows, reappearing behind the Kadabra and KO'ing it easily. It's really not a very interesting fight, unless you like watching curbstomp battles.
It's what happens after. As Ran reappears from the shadows in front of Ken, he begins to glow. Yup, someone's evolving.]
Oh man. Ratty, give me that.
[Ken snatches the Pokegear away from Ratty, giving a better look as Ran grows taller and, well...into more of a pretty, now floating, princess, for lack of a better expression. This is when Ken's Gear decides to thoughtfully chime in:]
Gardevoir, the Embrace Pokémon. Gardevoir has the psychokinetic power to distort the dimensions and create a small black hole. This Pokémon will try to protect its Trainer even at the risk of its own life.
...heh. Wonder how Aya'll take this.
